What could have been...
I expect lots of people have their careers cut short by injury and it's a real shame you could not go on to the world stage. I was never sporty at school, but I did some rowing with guys who competed later for GB.

I didn't have the dedication to get there. I was more of a nerd. Didn't fancy those early winter mornings out on the river.
