This post is about under 19 cricket world cup which is going on in South Africa. This is the platform where Cricketing star were born ,be it Virat Kohli, kane Williamson, Steve Smith . India reached to quater final undefeated and clashed against Aussies. To be true Aussies were the favorites here. Australia won the toss and elected to bowl first. India's plan to keep wickets with the new ball started well but once India started to attack then wickets fell cheaply. Yashasvi Jaiswal was once again the star with 62 runs and I personally fell he is coming to senior cricket not too long . I mean just look at him play,his shots, hits attitude . Towards the end of innings Atharva Ankolekar planed some fine innings to take the scoreboard to 233-9.
When Australia came to bat,it was like they lost the game in 1st over itself where they lost 3 wickets and the artist here is Kartik Tyagi with is fast bowing. There were few innings build by the Aussies but it didn't last long as Indian bowlers kept on picking wickets now and then and finally Australia managed to score just 159 losing all 10 wickets .Thus India are in Semis now.
