রোববার রাতে লা লিগায় বার্সেলোনার মাঠ কাম্প নউয়ে ২-২ ড্র ম্যাচে ১৪তম মিনিটে দলকে সমতায় ফেরানো গোলে মাইলফলকটি স্পর্শ করেন রোনালদো। করিম বেনজেমার হেডে বল পেয়ে সঙ্গে লেগে থাকা জেরার্দ পিকেকে ফাঁকি দিয়ে দুই গজ দূর থেকে ক্লাসিকোয় ১৮তম গোলটি করেন রোনালদো।
সব প্রতিযোগিতা মিলিয়ে ক্লাসিকোয় রিয়ালের হয়ে সমান সংখ্যক গোল করে এতদিন রেকর্ডটির একক মালিক ছিলেন ক্লাবটির ইতিহাসের সেরা ফুটবলার হিসেবে বিবেচিত আলফ্রেদো দি স্তেফানো।
চলতি মৌসুমে লা লিগায় রোনালদোর এটি ২৫তম গোল।
