Up!

Pictured here is the lovely lady who puts up with @jkms on a daily basis, Rebecca

Our families try to get together for a family climb (all levels, all ages!) in Kelowna each year around Thanksgiving (that's around Oct 10th here in Canada so it's still warm-ish out). I always try to grab a few shots of everyone on the wall.

I like this shot because it just shows the beauty of Okanagan rock, and how teeny Becs looks up there with a long way to go yet!

Nice photo, and I really love that you put it in B&W. I feel that it gives the viewer more interest in the texture of the shot than the colors that (can ) be distracting from the subject.

Thank you very much! I was thinking the same thing when I decided to convert it to B&W!
Cheers!

It looks challenging! great guys keep it up

It's never easy... even the beginner routes take a lot of strength!

That takes guts of steel! I always dreamt of rock climbing and I admire the people that do it.

If you know what you're doing and/or go with someone who does, it's actually a very safe sport! And very exhilarating! Becs (pictured) is very much a beginner... she's climbing a beginner route in this shot!

Famous last words!

Plus I can be very clumsy so I wouldn't trust myself.

A beautiful development of this sporting feat. The rocky immensity facing the man. The slightest misstep can be deadly. Without doubt one of the most dangerous sports and ask for the most physical and mental fitness. The choice of black and white is excellent because it highlights the hard texture of the mountain. A very beautiful image.

Thank you very much!

That is awesome.. And she is so brave and strong. 💪

The photo is dramatic but full of strength, such a great photo.
