Gilas Pilipinas guard Kiefer Ravena was not surprised to be selected for a random drug test as they rehearse at the Foshan International Sports and Cultural Arena for the FIBA World Cup 2019.
The NLEX player said he expects to be selected for random drug test because he will only be able to recover from the 18-month suspension when it is effective in using the illicit substance.
Gilas Pilipinas coach Yeng Guiao even made a joke after being selected for a random drug test.
He is confident that the result of the drug test will be negative for him.
When the result comes out, he will have his name removed forever.
Great mindset and readiness being showcased by Ravena. Hopefully he keeps up that mindset.
