Now onto the News, Rumors, and Commentary…

“Visalia would enter the 8th with a 4-3 lead, but Bryan Castillo would walk the bases loaded on 13 pitches before even more suspect pitching from ERic Mendez would result in 5 runs scoring in the inning. Kyle Backhus allowed 2 runs in 5 innings, but lost the win when Jose Santamaria would allow a run in the 7th. Back to back home runs by Tim Tawa and Deyvision De Los Santos accounted for their first inning runs. With 1 out, a pair of walks and a single would come back to haunt Jameson as he would surrender a first-pitch grand slam to the very next hitter.”

With one out in the 6th Jose Siri drew a walk and then with two outs Jose Altuve hit a two run shot to left, the one and only hit Madison would surrender on the night. Torey said that Alvarez is a fly ball hitter and Meyers hits it on the ground 50% of the time and he was hoping to get the ground ball to get out of the inning. But with two outs Walker struck out for the 3rd straight time with a runner in scoring position.”
