Lebron James is the most valuable player in the NBA. He had 3 championship rings and considered to be a legend someday in the NBA. James is a type of playmaker player, he can do any role in the league. There was a rumour that lebron would have a new role which is the point guard position in this comming new season. When the los Angeles Lakers hired a new head coach Frank Vogel, he clarified that LeBron James will not be the starting point guard in the upcoming season, but he confirmed that the lebron James will have the ball most of the time. Frank Vogel said in an interview
“I’ve not made any decisions on starting lineups or exact roles or anything like that as was reported,” Vogel said. “That stuff will all play itself out. I just know that LeBron has been at his best with the ball in his hands and we’re going to make sure that that environment that he’s had the most success in his career is present here with this version of the Lakers.”
He also added that he will not make James to do “anything that he has not done his whole career” in the league. As for the starting lineup and exact roles of other players, Vogel insisted that he has not made any decision.
