On August 8, 1992, the U.S. men's national basketball team also known as the "Dream Team". Won a gold medal in Barcelona with a 117-85 win over Croatia.

According to wikipedia "The Olympic Games were originally intended only for amateur players. As a result, the United States could only use college players and had to build a national team from scratch every four years, as all American players turned pro after the Games and thus were no longer available for selection." Because of some circumstances, FIBA changed the rules and allow professional basketball players to compete in the Olympics.

The 1992 team was composed of several Hall of Famers from the NBA and the team was later on called the "Dream Team" by sports illustrated. Some of these players were in their prime, which made the team more dominant. Below are the players for the 1992 Dream team:

Having these great players on your team which is mercilessly beating their opponents by an average of 43.8 points, the 1992 United States Coach Chuck Daly spawned the globalization of basketball when he didn't call a single timeout over the tournament's eight games.

Do you think a group of young and athletic players in the NBA today would have a chance of beating this legendary DREAM TEAM?
