Superstitious beliefs in sports outcome is not a new thing. Some sports lover especially football fans often think some certain events or occurrences do affect match result. Even though I'm not an avid believer in such things, sometimes when such coincidences occur too often, one might start to wonder if superstitions are real....lol
One of such coincidences occurring too much is the loss of the Nigeria National Team whenever they play with their away Jersey in matches. Since the release of the Jersey design from the Giant sporting outfit maker, NIKE, prior to the 2014 FIFA World Cup, Nigeria have never done well in matches in which the Away Jersey was worn.
I really do hope this is not the case in their next AFCON 2019 match though, as they have been drawn to play Algeria away, which means Nigeria will be donning their Green away jersey.
