Barca's Captain, Lionel Messi, has cleared the air around his future with Barca, insisting he wanna remain with the club for a long time.
Messi's future with the club became a matter of public speculation when it was revealed that there is a clause in his contract that allows him to leave the club at the end of each season as he deems fit.
Speaking to Sport, Messi said...
“Barcelona is my home and I don’t want to leave, but I want to win. I want to win the Champions League, it’s been a long time since we won it.
Barcelona president, Josep Maria Bartomeu, is already working on Messi’s next new deal, which could be his last with the club.
The 33-year-old is yet to play this season due to a calf injury.
