The Frenchman has been the most lethal striker this season in the Premier league and the statistics seems to agree with that. It is amazing that the player has the best goal-per minute ratio this season and only current highest goal scorer, Aubameyang comes close.
Anthony Martial, the unhappy one, once, would have left Old Trafford due to a poor relationship with erstwhile boss, Jose Mourinho that saw the talented winger miss out on the action a couple of times last term. Martial had looked set to go out with many clubs gunning for him but club management had to step in and warn that the player was not for sale.
After Saturday’s 5-1 mauling of Crystal Palace, Martial has now scored a goal every 111 minutes on the pitch. Aubameyang is second with 116 minutes per goal and leads the score chart with twelve goals scored.
