e first half was poor by both teams with a series of fouls and almost no good attempts. 5 Yellow cards were produced in the first half while the shot on target just counted to one. There was no measure to distinguish both teams. United had some good chances which brought Buffon into action and he denied both Rashford and Pogba. Mbappe also shot wide in the first half. With the start of the second half, United was forced to take Martial and Lingard out for Mata and Sanchez. Second half was all about PSG who completely outclassed United. In no time, United fell behind. Eight minutes after the half, PSG got a corner, which former Uniteds player Di Maria took to find the Kimpembe. He arrived there getting away from Matic to head the goal and provide the lead for PSG.
The misery for United doubled at the hour mark and conceded the next one. Di Maria was involved again for this goal in the counter-attack. He got a perfect low ball into the box to find Mbappe who tapped it home to double the lead. A few minutes later, De Gea did his best to deny the third for PSG from Mbappe.
