Cristiano Ronaldo is has reportedly returned just in time as he makes the trip to face Ajax in the first leg of the Champions league quarter finals. The five times Balon D’Or holder sustained a Hamstring injury while playing for his country during the last international break as they seek to qualify for the Upcoming Euro Nations Tournament and defend the title.
His injury in the second game of the break ruled him out of play for his club Juventus as he also remain a serious doubt for the Champions league quarter final games. Ronaldo help Juventus into this round of the competition as they pursue a much coveted European trophy. He is the highest goal scorer for Juve this season and is with only 4- goals in the Champions League with three coming in as a hat-trick against Atletico Madrid in the round of Sixteen.
It still remains uncertain though if Ronaldo will be in the starting Line-up for this game or if he would be deployed from the bench
