RE: SPS Governance Proposal - Pay Bug Bounty to louis88

Az - you are the asshole most of the time because of the way you speak to people and treat them as if they were beneath you.

You treat people terribly, often withhold information to appear superior, speak condescendinly to people about it and look down your nose at almost everyone.

The sarcasm is because of how you act and write.

Here's the funny part - you help a lot of people but only if they accept the way you teach as "the correct way".

Because of your stake you can push things around as you see fit and thus act from a position of "power". Which you then type things like "if you don't like it, just buy more or leave"... which is kinda your MO.

But let's get back to the point and facts because you and I both like facts right?

A. Not sure where your DM is public but ok - and if it's public, a search didn't yield results... in addition, one cannot search for what one does not know exists and since I read all the articles mentioned - and didn't see that... I must conclude that was DM'd

B. Took the tokens and wanted to keep 25% - again, where is this public?

C. Your interpretation - NOT FACTS - was that "he got scared" and returned them...

The evidence clearly shows that Clay literally states "he wasn't going to negotiate because that could be considered extortion and I'm sure that's not what he intended but he would have to report it to the FBI" (legally would have to) and the "tokens were promptly returned" + "he reported it minutes after doing it" - which is what most White Hats do.

Clay even doubled down on "not assuming malice"

Yet you present your "interpretations" as facts - which they most certainly aren't.

Because from my interpretation - it looks like he realized his error after Clay pointed it out. He may not have considered what he was doing was "extortion" and once it was pointed out he promptly returned the tokens.

If it were malicisous, do you genuinely think he would have reported it? Do you think he would have helped fix it? Do you think he would have done any of the previous helpful Security Tests?

I think we can all agree that Louis made a mistake and one that looks pretty bad at face value - but what we cannot do and present as "facts" is state his intent... we can only extrapolate and from what you presented as well as the articles I read from all involved, it would seem my interpretation differs from yours.

D. You're a Geodude. Not a hacker. Not a computer guy. You said so yourself. You interpret things a lot - it's your trade. But this isn't your trade and it's not your wheelhouse.

Glad we got the record straight.

Now let me circle back to the point you attempted to make and allow me to graciously thank you for proving my point.

Az - you might not BE and Asshole... But you most certainly ACT LIKE ONE online.

Do not present your opinion to me as facts. Do not speak to me in this manner. And for the love of God, please learn how speak with others online in a non combative way - you are intelligent enough to learn this. It's a skill. Not a talent.

Enough people have left Splinterlands already - we certainly don't need any more leaving because of interactions like these, wouldn't you agree?

Sort:

This is not in my DM.

In the treasurer channel in SL discord, where you and everyone else have access to.

So I proved yet again that I am correct and you overlooked.

Take a pause and reflect. If you make decisions in this state of mind you will make a lot of bad decisions. Now I am not even talking Splinterlands.

Good Bye!

By the way, this guy who you are willing to devote your life to, will double cross you for profit like there is no tomorrow.

I hate to be right all the time
