For this week's challenge, let's use the Disintegrator. This beast is quite a specific use one. Usually I play with it only in the melee only setting, but as I wasn't having any of these duels today, I finally tried it in this one as neither Earth nor Water splinters were allowed and Melee mayhem might lead to a melee heavy opponent.
As can be seen, we are also armored up and we both went for the Fire splinter, and a Disintegrator each. My line-up is a bit crappy: I didn't put too much thought on it, and that might come back to bite me in a painful place. I put the Forgotten one up front (because I never play with him and the fancy took me), the Disintegrator 2nd, then the usual Tenyii Striker and Serpentine spy and completed the line-up with Scorch fiend and Antoid Platton to cope with sneak attacks. Unfortunately, that seems a poor choice of line-p on my side.
At the beginning of round 2, the game progresses slowly with his Living lava being the efficient hits sponge.
During round 3, it's smelling like defeat for me as my line-up is getting hammered.
Round 4 looks like more of the same: I'm getting beaten up
Round 5 looks like it will be the last one.
My opponent's Living lava managed to miss in round 5, so my Antoid platoon manages to survive until round 6. I should really have played with the Living lava: I usually do, and originality didn't pay in this case. Well, I'll do better next time!

Yeah bad match up there :( I am sure you will definitely do better next time. Yeah Living lava is one of the best ones to use with fire splinter.
I have to take chances ffrom time to time otherwise where would be the fun?
Nice writeup! I haven't really found a reason to love my Disintegrator yet.
It's useful, but in very specific cases
