After some ups and down in the number of battles we are now seeing a more stable number with 4M per day.
The number of Splinterlands battles was heavily impacted by bots. There were multiple changes in the way that the reward system works and this has effected the ecosystem.
We can notice the sharp drop in June, when a penalty for the energy rate was introduced, then again at the beginning of August.
What's interesting is that the latest change with the transition from DEC to SPS in rewards, didnt had a big impact... at least not yet. Sometimes the bot operators needs some time to adapt, so there might be some changes going forward. For now its stable.
We might see a rise in playing when the ghost cards tournaments come to play.
