Praetorian Prospectors is the most unique guild the whole of Splinterlands has to offer.
Guilds are in high demand, established guilds even more so. This guild is structured to fund the development of guild buildings and give those providing the funding proportional ownership of the guild and future profits. How it will attempt to do so is thus;
Players create or dedicate an account to and join the guild. Through whatever their means allow, take advantage of the SPS airdrop for the remainder of the year and build up as big a stack as you can. At the end of the airdrop we each figure out how much we are comfortable dedicating to the guild and put our DEC into upgrades for the guild buildings.
With the roster expanded and the initial funding phase done we set up a fee structure, such as;
Diamond / Champion League: 3,000 DEC/season
Gold League: 2,250 DEC/season
Silver League: 1,000 DEC/season
Bronze League: 500 DEC/season
Novice League: 100 DEC/season
At these rates to league levels players should still be significantly profiting from the guild bonus perks and the guild would be bringing in close to 40,000 DEC per season if 100% operational and full. Some quick back of the napkin math puts that at a yearly potential return of 4.2 million. This would be 285,000 DEC each assuming the 15 original guild founders equally contributed and had equal stakes in the guild. Going rates at the moment that would translate to around $2,000 per person per year.
Guild Hall – 2.7 million dec to max
Arena – 4.2 million dec to max
Barracks - 4.2 million dec to max
Store - 4.2 million dec to max
Totalling around 15.3 million DEC total to max out currently available buildings. One million dec each at a current value of $8,000. If the guild is only partially developed the players would put their seasonal fees towards upgrades and thus also own a stake in the guild. Once the guild is producing a profit hopefully we can have the whole distribution process automated via smart contract where each founder would receive their share of the pie as soon as roster payments were made.
The Land Expansion will likely provide a whole different set of opportunities which we can explore when the time comes. This guild will be deeply involved with the land gameplay and economics and the only initial requirement for joining is the ownership of land.
If enough of the first 15 founders would like we can immediately upgrade the necessary buildings to enable brawling and accumulating crowns, or we can leave the buildings at base level and stack coins while the opportunity is here.
If you couldn't tell by now, this is intended to be a group who enjoys the economic aspects of the game and the cryptocurrency space in general. The bigger game inside of Splinterlands is accumulating the most assets while they're readily available as possible, a guild is a sort of immobile asset that can be taken advantage of. And it's a way to organize a group of people into profitable course through the seas of Splinterlands.
