Hey, so I just got back from the cinema, I saw a very interesting movie titled 'Divorce Not Allowed'. It is a comedy that explores issues faced by young couples in marriages and how their resolutions sometimes threaten to shake the foundation of their love. This comedy is a serious mesaage for couples and lovers.
According to the filmmaker, the film is to encourage people to fight for their marriages.
"Marriages continue to crash today because many people give up too easily on their marriages. People have simply stopped fighting for their marriages and when you fail to fight for what you believe in, you have lost the fight already," he said in a statement.
"That's because you didn't even make the effort. I made the movie 'Divorce Not Allowed' because I want people to start fighting for their marriages again in order for us to have a better world."
The movie is very entertaining but yet educative. It reveales the lives of different couples, they all have their flaws and it was really tough for them. In family A, the wife was the boss, she was in control of everything, their finances, decision making even their sexual life, she speaks to her husband without any form of regard, one who sees them might think her husband is the help, even in front of her staffs, she disrespects him. Family B, the wife is a prayer warrior, not bad though, but she totally forgets she's married, she no longer dresses the way she used to dress, she ties long scarfs, no earrings, big clothes and so on, she is so blind that she doesn't know what is going on with her husband, not until he brings a hot chick to the house though. she prays about everything, even when a divorce letter was dropped infront of her, she concluded it was the devil not knowing she was the cause of their marriage failure. Family C, a cute superstar is stuck with a village girl, who ties wrapper all day at home, bad grammar, sits on the floor all day and watches local channels, though she takes proper care of the home and prepares very nice meals. The husbands all decides to divorce their wives as they can't take it any longer, at first their partners didn't accept it with wide arms, but soon they had no choice, but when they finally did, the husbands soon found out what they were missing, as they say everything that has disadvantages also has advantages, they miss their good sides, plead and they decide to change.
Walking out of a problem is not always the solution to that problem, staying and working on it solves the problem, because walking out might worsen the problem.
As they say, 'Those things left undone are the things that trouble us the most'. Instead of ignoring problems, always try to look for solutions, it's better you try than give up without even making any effort. Love your spouse or partner, know their weaknesses, know their flaws, and help them improve. I hope we make the world a better place for fighting for what is right and of course maintaining good relationships.
