RE: Do you know the benefits of Dandelion for your health?

in #stach6 years ago

Great post. I learned a few more things about dandelion. It's odd, I have reservations about trying it and I don't know why.

If you ever have questions never hesitate to ask. Most of the people on the platform are very helpful.

As you may know @coinsandchains featured you in this week's @pifc's Pay It Forward Curation Contest.

Don't be afraid to try it, if you are picking it from your yard just make sure you have not sprayed for bugs or weeds lately... lol.
If you are eating it raw it does have a slightly bitter taste. Adding it to a salad with a nice balsamic vinegar and oil it's pretty good.
It also works well to help alleviate bee stings. A couple Dandelion leaves and a couple Plantain leaves crushed up then placed over a sting numbs the pain and seems to draw out the poison.

Oh very cool. I don't use pesticides or chemicals and normally in the spring we have a fair amount. I'll just have to step out of my comfort zone and do it. I've considered even making wine.
