There are several dos and donts we need to take proper note of when eating in same plate with an elderly person. Im gonna be basing on the don'ts today...

Although in some part of my country (Nigeria) where most of our cultural practices are respect based, most of things that we see as a minor in our day to day activities are held with intense priority.

Like the yorubas, there are several culture they observe that still exist today although our mordern children lay a little hold on that... The wel known culture of the yoruba people is bending or kneeling whe greeting their elderly ones.
Respect among them cannot be overemphasized due to the obvious things we see around.
Eating with elderly people are not prohibited but the way and manner should be put to note.
- when eating with an elderly one do not eat meat first no matter how many is inside the plate. Allow he or she to take first or better still let him or her give u your share to eat. Most times they tend to give permission for you to go ahead and take. When they do....... You can eat.
