Upbit the Korean exchange has been around 80% of the exchange trade around STEEM and SBD.
This continues to reflect in the fact that more and more traffic is coming to steemit from South Korea.
Represented by the green line below. Last week the baseline peaked at over 150 000 in 24 hours.
Venezuela is also breaking away from its continent mates.
Nigeria represented by West Africa is also moving ahead from it fellows in Africa.
Overall it demonstrates that last record level was not an enigma.
In all cases the traffic is growing exponentially. As soon as I discovered Steemit, I knew that it would be extremely profitable. Just look at what happened with Facebook & Google.

Very interesting. Why is the price so crazy on HitBTC. It looks like you are still on able to deposit or withdraw from that exchange. I guess that is the issue. Would be nice to get 50% more than the other exchanges. Too good to be true.
An excellent analysis of the volotility and traffic of the STEEM, from which we clearly see that on the wave of periodic prohibitions from the government of South Korea, more and more people come from this country. Venezuela and Nigeria are also active, and this is encouraging in the sense that the STEEM is gaining increasing interest among people around the world. I'm sure this kind of interest is caused primarily by the advantages of STEEM, which are expressed in fast transactions without commissions and with better scalability than many currencies. Once SBD and Steem are known in Korea very much maybe in few days we may see a big jump in the prices of SBD ans Steem,,,, I believe they will both be above $20 in a short time as per the fact that It is getting a lot of positive buzz around the world

Volume is mind blowing. Is South Korea interested in Steemit or is it just a speculation is a big question. Nevertheless, it seems that trend will continue.
Yeah, I think some of it has to do with people "indexing" the top 100 or top 50 coins. The question is whether or not adoption and use-cases will keep up with the speculative investment, and I think there's a chance that it might.
the smart money would look at steem i think as a great store of value and that 3 second transaction time and super fast blockchain makes it a nice place to stash some cash too, the volume is immense, at least from what we are normally used too.
Hitbtc is so crazy in price but the amount of volume being traded is great. We still have so much more potential.

That’s a bit of flawed logic. Steem actually calculates your payout in SP (the translation to USD is then just for show) So if you’re getting 1 SP from a post now, your USD may show $5. If Steem price climbs to $20... a post that earns 1 SP will still earn 1 SP and the USD total will show $20! A gain in value does not make anyone earn SP at any slower pace. The increased popularity of the site and competition among users will make it harder though.

Around Sept 10th 2017, China announced banning all domestic exchanges, which they actually ended up doing. NEO dropped to $20.69
Today, 4 months later there is still no exchanges allowed in China, Neo is $113.75
My opinion, looking forward to $100 ICX in 4 months... with or without Korea. But I expect Korean exchanges will still be running strong
