My votes have no real value yet, but if I have some Steem/Steem$ available it should be easy for me to send some to show appreciation for a post or comment. I know it's possible to do a payment with a memo, but I hope to see buttons everywhere to make this quick and easy. I think you can send as little as 0.001 and with no transaction charge. The Steem economy could be massive.

@jesta has been talking about updates to the new user experience as well in his witness update. I agree this needs some focus/ attention.
If you are thinking of trying out web development, you should. The other post I mentioned has some info about making updates to the Steemit website, and submitting them via pull requests. Maybe you could be the one to add the new tip button 😀

Cool. I don't expect it all immediately. There's lots of ways the site can go. I think it needs to be a little more user friendly to encourage newcomers. Some of the features are a bit cryptic. Certainly seems to be plenty of people wanting to work on it. I am a developer, but not on web stuff. I'm looking to get into that
