We are currently trying to update this report every other day. Given that bounties run 7 days mostly this should be a good frequency and balance between spam and giving everyone a chance to participate in each bounty.
We changed the minimum bounty size we will include in this report to 0.1 STEEM or SBD. Let us know if you think this is too low?
From now on the report shows the payout date on the left and is sorted by the amount of the bounty, so you see the big opportunities right away.
We have our very first $50 bounty from the community and the post is also on the trending page. We are stoked that the bounty is also used by whales. Thank you!
There have been over 200 bounties created. Wohoo and thank you very much for using them.
Bounties are free to create at this time, but we do plan to come up with some form of fee/reward sharing model in the future.
Make sure to reference your bounty
Roughly 110 or so bounties have been completed. We still have a few that are being returned. Make sure to upvote your comments so this does not happen to your bounty.
For bounty creators: Make sure you point out the bounty opportunity in your post or better yet your headline. That way you will get more attention and your readers know what to do to earn the rewards.
Also make sure you upvote the right commentaries!

Remember in order to qualify for a bounty reward you must write a comment to the bounty post, which needs to be a top level comment (direct response to the post).

If you're going to create a bounty, you need to tell people what you're giving it for. Steem bounty might help you get decent quality comments (certainly nothing worthy of real praise) on your blog, which give you an ego boost, help you to delude yourself into believing that people actually like your awful grammar and missppelt posts and think that people might be interested in what you have to say. Unfortunately steem bounty doesn't guarantee that you'll get good comments on your post. You have to tell people what they'll get the bounty for, and honestly give them the bounty based on your assessment criteria.

Yes. A list of bounties is a very arduous and complicated thing to set up. It's admirable really.
