Steem Cartoon : It's a Matter of Point of View

The philosophical story is inspired by the famous Indian fable, but I interpreted it base on the local characters and the many debate and argument, no matter either on political issues, religions, race etc that I read in social media/newspaper and people around me. Everyone of us loves to create our own version of reality based on our limited experience and perspective.

I find my reference here

Animated version of a similar story is reproduced here:

Blind Men and The Elephant

My interpretation

Gajah01.jpg

The 6 blind men wanted to know how an elephant looks like. So the task of describing is delegated to all of them.

gajah02.jpg

Each of them took to different anatomy of the elephant. And they confidently started their description. Well it can't be wrong because it is through their own senses...

gajah03.jpg

They derived many different description and each believed their own version. An argument broke out and it escalated.

gajah04.jpg

I feel that humans are so ignorant. They fail to understand that their own prejudices blind them to see the entire picture. Even in the absence of prejudice, their view is still limited by their own experience and knowledge. But each individual is so confident of their description and understanding without realising that they are blind.

My Process

Hola... may you translate it in English? I don't understand the language... thank you!

The bits I understand are hello friend, you're very talented (or maybe have a lot of talent?), not sure about the genial el arte bit, then they ask what program you use to digitise (I think).

You could get an approximation running through Google Translate, they might have to do the same for your reply though XD

haha... thank you for the translation... will check it out!

@sireh, I love this illustration .if only the blind man come along together put their thoughts and heart as community all of them able to achieve their objectives. But if each one deep down already decided of their own interests then non is achieveable. Your drawing able to draw people in different perspective of life.

Yup!... everyone's knowledge is like a piece of puzzle... if all of the knowledges combined, greatness can be achieved... learning and sharing our knowledge is something that i highly valued. Tqvm @voltranrex

Good story line and the illustration is perfect. They forgot they were blind and gave their description make on their knowledge. Haha

Hehe... tqvm @yungchief ...

Great work, as usual :)
