Yes I think blocktrades is also good as I noticed that steemit market is using it. But for cryptotraders Polo and Bittrex are quite popular to get the maximum value for trading position to any altcoins and Bitcoin.
Anyway as long as you can convert from Steem to BTC that will do. Coinbase is very popular in the US for BTC/Ethereum transactions too.
