RE: Playing Devil's Advocate: Why Steem HF23 is NOT THEFT!

in #steem5 years ago

Ah yes, but the value of a crypto rests almost entirely within the foundation of a layer 0 community, so when we forked to Hive we siphoned a ton of value ("took it") from Steem and cut them out of the new chain.

You're saying that property isn't property because value. Utter nonsense, the But is saying that because steem feel in Value (unambiguous) that Steem isn't property. You're also ridiculously as all hell, suggesting that because Steem or it's Value migrates, Steem is ok the be plundered, because that's EXACTLY what you seem to consider that happened, that somehow HIVE plundered Steem. RIDICULOUS AS ALL OTHER IMBECILIC NONSENSE. THEFT IS THEFT.

A COUNTRY, is a GEOGRAPHIC REGION, NOT A FUCKING NATION. That's a lesson in grammar for just about every single one in here that speaks about countries when they only mean nation. A nation may have laws, but even NATIONS are bound by laws, contractual, common, or both. The reason for DPOS is to not have to fall back to using their (nation) monopoly on adjudication which is by nature coercive, deceitful and callous. That said, seizing accounts, taking funds by force, and doing so as the first, the one and only option, obliterates any kind of legitimacy for such a brazen and destructive act. The real world sphere has been violated, property rights, THE REASON WHY crypto exists, the reason why steem itself existed: to protect property, such violations regardless if it's with the cheering approval of just about everyone, is still a violation of the highest, using force to deprive others of property whilst the criminals enjoy the plunder, it's also a violation of the sphere of Ideas, of which now Consensus obviates Private Property, wrong is wrong, taking property that doesn't belong to you is wrong, is theft, and it's a crime in all Regions and Places, and no one is Immune from it.

These are the very nuances behind all "why" blockchain, is that not so cut and dry though, that property was violated?
