Alas, but why look at the reason behind a 50/50 split if you've already decided that the change is but a step of a ploy. You literally argue that dozens of people are and have been colluding to sell votes and somehow, no matter the improbability, they have successfully switched the gambit on cue, now instead of selling votes, they are "something for nothing". Heck, give me anything more believable or offer something more than what amounts to nothing more than the vague insinuations of fraud and chicanery.
