How interesting! I wonder what kinda of data will be “sold”. Would it be metadata about a user’s time online, blogs they’ve upvoted on.. and so forth. I wonder if the data would be used to truly analyze if users are reading one another’s blog. For instance, I clicked on your blog. They might calculate an average time to read an article based on word count, and determine if a user really spends that much time with the blog window open. So if I spent, say 3 minutes on your post, then I actually read your content and my upvote is a true interest. A one second click, eh, probably not. Not sure if something like this is part of the data sold. Interesting to find out though.
