Don't forget that if you don't have money to power-up with, your own thoughts are enough to generate a little bit of STEEM to power up with. Success may come a little slower as opposed to investing, but you are also investing your time.
I've felt bad feelings about the platform when it comes to the abuse that goes on, but there is also way too much good that outweighs the bad for me to put this crypto down. I've considered the youtube and twitch route but there has been too much controversy with those platforms and that includes ad revenue. Content creators getting paid for their content like this is right on par with why Ethereum will succeed. (Gas, Dapps, etc)
I've seen a lot of videos posted with no engagement regarding the steemit article itself. Sometimes I may not be able to watch a video just to understand what it's about. A good summary will make for healthy profits when it comes to providing quality content, as opposed to just dropping a video.
I also think these Youtubers that are dropping Youtube videos are using the wrong platform to use videos. (dtube)
