Hey there dude! Happy to follow you. I have also set my goals for myself but not for really monetary reason but to establish a network that will support me for my upcoming posts. Setting a main goal is important and creating a daily goals to consistently meet your target should always be done. Sometimes it is hard if the daily goals you have set is quite impossible for you to achieve out of being busy with other things. Good luck to the both of us here!
It's a good idea to set up goals on steemit. They give you a guide to work towards, and can offer motivation when you're down.
I've set a goal for 100 followers, 20 SP, and 1 SBD.
They look small, but a man has to learn to run a 100 metre race before attempting a marathon.
