I've seen separate month old discussions regarding account verifications. The main purpose being to avoid plagiarism of content. I'm curious what the status is on that.
Why not simply have a "login with twitter" feature?
It's pretty safe to say that most public figures with a least a couple followers have the main social media accounts. Why not have the option to verify your Steem account by using Twitter through Steemit?
What methods are being looked at currently?
This would be helpful for a lot of new users just cause humans are "lazy".
I think it would be a more pluralistic system of verification if we didn't go the route of Twitter simply due to their bias. I think maybe attaching a BitID or some other form of crypto-blackbox identification mechanism.
