I sold some of my SBD for Steem and my guess is that Steem might get pushed even harder - let's see if it works out ;)
I’m in the process of doing the same. I wonder if this will lead to sbd getting left behind.
If so, I will need to switch to a pure SP payouts on my post.

I don't believe SBD will be left behind - not in the semi-long run. The goal will be to sell back to SBD and then to wait for another big pump as we've seen in January.
And regarding 100% power-up option: Don't do that.
The option is only good if SBD is at 1 USD or below. Otherwise you'll lose money.

Steem (STEEM) will be launched on Huobi Pro on April 25, 2018 (GMT+8). Deposits will be available from 13:00, April 25 (GMT+8). STEEM/BTC, STEEM/ETH and STEEM/USDT trading will be available at Main Zone from 13:00, April 26, 2018 (GMT+8). Withdrawals will be available from 13:00, April 28 2018 (GMT+8).

Houbi is a great exchange platform but they realize the power of steem as they listed steem. We all pleased to see the success of steem and hope very soon Steem will be top ten currency.
It could be top 10 if they fix some of the major issues on this platform.

Being that steem is DPOS it will never be mineable in a traditional sense. I seen s quick post about the litecoin platform but it’s not on my list currently to dive into.

The real good thing about steem listed on houbi is that we can now trade steem directly to eth and USDT, which is not possible in bittrex or poloniex... This should highly pump steem price...
