we should blame the system, which allows it.
In steem you can make an interest on your money if you like yourself, and this is the problem.

People just use what exists, @dan is who made it possible :)
And btw if they don't do it, the inflation will make their money go own eventually, because in steem there is huge inflation.
It's true. People act in the way that is most self-interested in any system. In order to keep things decentralized though, the solution has to come from the community.
No - don't blame the system blame the people abusing it. Hold them accountable.
