Once again I'm here with my Blog and I hope all you will be doing good.
Friends this is my blog series I will share about unseen places of India and I hopeall you will know about many Indian places which is still hidden from us.
So today I'm going to share about a place which is still for from modern History.
North Sentinel Island ( Andaman Island)- last unconnected place from modern history
North Sentinel Island is one of the Andaman Islands, Which Includes South Sentinel Island, in the Bay of Bengal.
And We can say that this is only place on the earth that is still contacted from modern History of the world. And The most Important thing is that this place is situated in India.
This place is about 22 miles (36 KM) away from South Andaman Island, 31 miles (50 KM) away from west Port Blair and 37 miles (60 KM) away from South Sentinel Island.
The total area of North Sentinel Island is About 23 sq miles (60 square KM ).
History of North Sentinel Island
It is known that the history and culture of North Sentinel Island is about 50-60 thousand years old. And People from that Island are still living with their own Tradition and culture Since the beginning of their existence. And they don't want to change themselves and never interested in adopt to modern culture.
Many times people from India and other countries tried to reach North Sentinel Island to Know about the culture and tradition of North Sentinel Island. But every times they failed because either they were killed by tribal from North Sentinel Island or they were lost in the mid Sea.
It is expected that total population of North Sentinel Island is about 400-600. Yet they are too violent against the people from rest of world.
Indian Government and Tribes from North Sentinel Island.
North Sentinel Island is the part of India, So after independence of India, Indian government tried to contact with Tribes from there so that North Sentinel Island could develop with modern India, but Every times Tribes refused to accept offer and they prefer to live with their own 60 thousand old culture and tradition.
- The first attempt was made by Indian Government in 1967, When Anthropologist T. N. Pandit tried to contact with Tribes. But tribes were become violent and they attacked over the Pandit and team.
- In 1970 Pandit and team again tried to reach North Sentinel Island, but again Tribes became violent.
- During the 2004 Tsunami in Indian Ocean, Indian government tried to help tribes with food packets and other necessities by sending some Helicopters towards North Sentinel Island but Tribes reacted with the Arrows and Spears.

उत्तरी सेंटिनल द्वीप का इतिहास
यह ज्ञात है कि उत्तरी सेंटिनल द्वीप का इतिहास और संस्कृति लगभग 50-60 हजार वर्ष पुरानी है। और उस द्वीप के लोग अभी भी अपने अस्तित्व की शुरुआत के बाद से अपनी परंपरा और संस्कृति के साथ रह रहे हैं। और वे खुद को बदलना नहीं चाहते हैं और आधुनिक संस्कृति को अपनाने में कभी दिलचस्पी नहीं लेते हैं।
कई बार भारत और अन्य देशों के लोगों ने उत्तरी सेंटिनल द्वीप की संस्कृति और परंपरा के बारे में जानने के लिए उत्तरी सेंटिनल द्वीप तक पहुंचने की कोशिश की। लेकिन हर बार वे असफल हो जाते थे क्योंकि या तो वे उत्तरी सेंटिनल द्वीप से जनजातीय द्वारा मारे गए थे या वे मध्य सागर में खो गए थे।
यह उम्मीद की जाती है कि उत्तरी सेंटिनल द्वीप की कुल जनसंख्या लगभग 400-600 है। फिर भी वे दुनिया के लोगों के खिलाफ बहुत हिंसक हैं।

- हिंद महासागर में 2004 सुनामी के दौरान, भारत सरकार ने उत्तरी सेंटीनेल द्वीप की ओर कुछ हेलीकॉप्टर भेजकर खाद्य पैकेट और अन्य आवश्यकताओं के साथ जनजातियों की मदद करने की कोशिश की लेकिन जनजातियों ने तीर और स्पीयर्स के साथ प्रतिक्रिया व्यक्त की।
