World wide statistics shows that depression is the leading cause of suicide, as women are more prone to this than men.
Most often the inability to deal with taugh issues like sickness, financial bankruptcy,brake ups with spouse ,rejection,loss of loved ones,sever pain etc are factors that that contribute to the reason people decide to escape from reality.They feel there is no need to continue living ,and as such they take their own lives.
Most often the victims isolate themselves some will travel far away from home so that they will not be discouraged.
Not all depressed people commit sucide as some often take their frustration out on others,for instance a man depressed will easily kill his wife with little provocation or none at all.
Most Times it is often difficult to identify people with this impaired ailments,as they go about living there normal life's.We meet them in various places, like the shopping mall, banks, parties etc.
It is not often that they isolate themselves ,most try to drown there sadness and problems by flinging to party for a sence of velonging, or they engage in hard drugs or other social vices.
WAYS TO AVOID COMMITING SUCIDE
It is imperative to relax and try to forget the reason that caused you pain and have a rethink.It is strongly advices for a potential victim to be open and share his/her experience with a friend most preferably an adult between the ages of 50-70years.
I will strongly advice that you pertake in community developement and do a lot of exercise,you can equip your basement with a punching bag, try to think of the challenges and punch away.
I will further advice you see a psychologist and share your problems with him.Attend group discussions and you will discover that there are people with more sever challenges than yours and they are trying to cope.
I will also advice you see your religious head like a pastor, he will mentor you into contentment.
When a close friend of ours or relation commit sucide we often feel bad as it comes as a shock to us.But for those that are sweet that a potential victim is going through hardship,we should stretch forth our hands and serve as a beacon of hope to him.
Most importantly Move close to God
