I hope you're not still using your master key to login into steemit and do transactions with? You should only use it in case your account gets compromised. Only use your posting/active key (posting to login, active for transactions)

I gotta be honest my friend all this key talk still confuses me. I dont think im using any master key for anything. (head scratch)
When you look at permissions in your wallet there is only 3 keys; posting, active and owner (owner = master key) (well... 3 that you use, not sure what memo is for :P).
Posting = for posts/upvoting, and used to login into Steemit.com
Active = for transactions (so sending steem/sbd to other accounts)
Owner/master = ment to be kept offline, so incase your account gets compromised you are able to retrieve it with this key.
Just think private keys as passwords and public keys as account identifiers. You rarely need public keys for anything as regular user.
