I was totally going to write a post tomorrow about how this is going to happen. @binance-hot was just testing 1 Hive transfers yesterday.
As you can see, with Hive trading on Binance at 67 cents and trading everywhere else at 84-86 cents, he is dumping his coins at a loss to pump Steem. Wow, this sure is a desperate play. Not quite what I was expecting. This Hive pump must have REALLY REALLY gotten under his skin to throw away money like this.

lol... I really didn't think he would be that mad considering how much Hive he owns... now he's dumping it at a discount for his own shitcoin? Man, this just keeps getting better.
I honestly was thinking this was going to happen (less aggressively) and was going to trade Hive for Steem myself in front of him to capitalize on this silly move. However, my politics will not allow me to buy Steem. Too bad so sad.
If you trust Binance, this is a good opportunity to buy coins at a "discount" before withdrawals open and the arbitrage bots have a field day.
You'll also notice that Binance gave Hive a BNB listing, and much more importantly, a USDT listing. We have a stable-coin listing, friends! Neato!

And the pump will continue with this news. $2 Hive is a strong possibility before crashing back to earth but whatever value it holds when it does crash it will be way higher than before the pump.
Saw we were listed on Binance this morning and wondered why the prices weren't coming together as logic would see Hive flowing out of Binance to Huobi. Hadn't realized they had it available for trade but nit withdrawal. Explains that.
I would've thought (I did actually) that the hike in Hive was a two edged sword he might like, as those who are staying with that ship to the bitter end would be able to trade their Hive they are powering down and take some of the pressure off him keeping Steem higher.
Of note, Coinmarketcap gave up their silly manipulation and Hive is in the 30ies there as well!!
Yeah and they did it literally at the exactly same time that Binance listed Hive, implying the two (three) events were all connected.
first of all good night. It is sad to see how the price is manipulated on Binance. Clearly at this stage it is not open for withdrawals but as soon it will be open... there could be a failure of price between Huobi and Binance. This might result in people having big losses on their investments because some millionaires want to play this game.
Thing is, this is was a play that I was surely expecting from Justin Sun and if Hive could drop till maybe 40 cent I'll be buying again

Really can't believe what's going on! Damn, why must my steem power down take another couple of days! Maybe it will be a bit higher by then? Who knows! My Blockfolio is looking pretty insane right now, enjoy the ride!

Yes but you don't sell your dump at a discount and then buy back your own shitcoin that you wanted to absorb into Tron anyway.
Imagine Satoshi Nakamoto coming on the scene and buying more Bitcoin. Why would someone ever do that? You make the coin less valuable by centralizing distribution that badly.
