Overcoming Fear of the Dark

Do you know that the fear of darkness is called Achluophobia!

Tips on how to overcome this fear:

  1. The greatest way to overcome your fear, is to face your fear.

  2. Your mind is filled with what you put in it, therefore use the best of your imaginative powers.

  3. A relaxed body and mind gives a good night rest. Exercise before bedtime, listen to good calm music, eat light, a glass of warm milk helps .

  4. A good companion takes away worries. This might be a sibling, a parent, a best friend, pet or your cosy stuffed animal

  5. Most importantly, a problem shared is a problem half solved.
