Planning is the key to success.
Every enterprise is built by proper planning, becomes strong through proper sense and becomes profitable through keeping abreast of the facts.
The realization of every goal is in planning
Today I'll teach you what I call the A B C of goals.
A - Achievable: your goals must be achievable/realistic.
B - Believable: your goals shouldn't be too small that it doesn't motivate you and not too big that it scares you.
C - Concrete: your goals must me concrete/solid.
STEPS TO EFFECTIVE PLANNING.
Set a definite goal: Nothing becomes dynamic until it becomes specific. Of your goals involves finances, write the amount. You want a car specify the kind of care.
Set a definite deadline: set a time frame for every goal and make it definite.
Write down your goal: Write it down and read it daily till it gets imprinted in you.
Develop a plan to achieve your goal: This is where it gets interesting, write down step by step process to getting to where you want to from where you are.
Determine what you'll give in exchange to achieve your goal: Life responds to values, what you get is dependent on what you give out.
If you get something for nothing then you are a beggar and you won't get far begging.
You sow before you reap. So create value and give it out in exchange for what you need.
AREAS TO SETTING GOALS.
Career Goals: it will be difficult to earn more than you are earning now except your increase your skills. Cultivate the habit of reading, by all means read.
Health Goals: Health is wealth, without good health every part of you suffers. So take your health very seriously. Watch your diet, go for medical check ups.
Spiritual Goals: Set goals on your quiet time with God, spend time reading the Bible and praying, don't take it for granted. Spend quality time with God.
Social Goals: Set specific goals about your social life, when do u want to marry(if you are single), how many times do you take your wife out(if you are married). Set time for vacation with your family.
Financial Goals: Have a personal budget, not just about your income, but your expenditures also, highlight all about your finances, how much you spend on feeding, fueling, rent etc.
A suggestion if you are married fix an allowance for your wife. Yes she deserves it.
