As an investor, that's quite alright.

It depends. It depends the type of investor. If an investor with a public portfolio, they may not want to connect their name, their reputation (the money of others) to such a mess.

If individual investors, especially crypto investors, who often are anonymous, then of course that’s alright as long as it thrives. They need not raise new funds, they need not pitch themselves when funding rounds risk being oversubscribed, they need not pitch their value and importance to get a seat on the board.

More traditional VC funds need to consider all of that tho.
