So, I’ve been into Blockchain and cryptocurrency for awhile now and after hearing about Steem, I decided to settle for it and make some good impact on the Steem community.

I Joined Steem in October 2017 and so far have made lots of posts, commented on other posts, resteemed other Steem blog posts and making my little contributions, yet, nothing to show for it.
I Joined Discord and participated in Steem groups because I want to see what method works on Steem, yet I am yet to make $3 ever since I started doing all this.
The question now is
who on this earth will inspire me to try again after seeing blog posts that adds zero value to Steem community and still makes lots of dollars?
Just to get the vibes going, I reached out to @gee1 who I met in Crypto Africa Whatsapp group, @gee1 was really helpful and explained lots of things to me about Steem and how to make money from Steem. Amongst the thing she told me was
• Create a network of social pals on Steem
• Become an authority on Steem and get a reputable Steem Power and other important stuff she reavealed to me.
Please guys, help me and celebrate her.
The likes of @jerrybanfield really inspire me on Steem but then, I’ve read most of his works and trying to follow his Steem blogging concept in my own niche but then, its like there is more to it than just posting on Steem.
Looking at the previous blog posts that should be making me good money on Steem, it seems like the more I write the worst and no time soon the result is ever going to come.
People like @haejin publishes almost 5-10 Steem blog posts everyday and makes hundreds of Dollars from their contents. I have studied his works and been able to figure out he understands his niche, but what I don’t understand is how all his posts makes lots of money everyday.
Is Steem just a scam or another platform I don’t understand here to waste my precious time?
Was I misinformed about making money on Steemit?
I’m I doing something wrong?
On this, I’m still crying and sorting for more answers believe someone will come to my aid after this post, I have few questions and
Here is what I really want on SteemIt
- I need to understand what works and what does not work.
- I need to know is there anything else apart from writing good blog post that gets the reader’s attention on Steem.
- Who and who do I need to follow to stand out on Steem
- Do I need to invest into Steem aside the money I make here?
Aside what @gee1 told me, I still belief your recommendations will help me out. In fact, I need to start earning my first $1 from this post else, I might loose hope.

So, in then end, I'm just looking for recommendations from the Pros here and don't mean to call steem a scam.
This post is funny man....those that have a lot of steem/steem power definitely earns more than those with less or none steem power....i think u need to watch some videos on how to make money on steemit but here is my own small advice.
Join a steemit whatsapp group and make sure you post your articles on busy.org to get free upvotes every day or better still...use the esteem app
Also try to use correct tags for your posts to get upvotes and right attention....i noticed your previous tags are not usually appropriate....check out the explore section on steemit menu to see and select appropriate tags to post your articles.
You can also participate in contests on steemit and win sbd and gain popularity....I think u are the first person to see steemit as scam tho...a bit harsh,but just for the record...steemit primary motive is not money making!

Well, i've been into steem and have studies the system for awhile now and i'm really glad to say i'm coming onboard full time to do my homework.
Steem is not scam, the tittle is just to cause controlversy and you can see that from the post.

Looking at your frustration I wanted to make some recommendation but then after I heard you've Reachout to this people and it didn't work out for you. It means nothing I say will help.
Also, instead of doing your homework well, you decided to put forward a very high accusation about a platform you know shit about. It therefore means you are not ready to learn instead just seeking cheap attention.

@gudtalent so I used the night to think up something. You know it's not good for your name to be part of a scam, just incase you're going for a presidential position later. What you will do now is copy plenty post and upload so you're be flagged out of steemit since you cannot block your account. That way your name will not come up at all later. @vheobong has been planning too.
