RE: Important Changes to Steemit.com and Wallet

in #steem5 years ago

This is actually a very great idea as it will help one's tokens to be more safer and secured.

Can anyone give me an insight on how I can generate my posting keys because I haven't saved or backed up my posting keys unlike my password.

I will be glad if anyone can be of help

When you log into steemit.com with a master password you will get the option to save a PDF containing all your private keys (posting, active, etc).

Thanks for your lovely comment... I will try that

Fuck steem.com people are stupid.

I was never logged out, I was never warned of a change, and now I cant access my funds.

This is a fucking blockchain. Accessing funds is its number one job.

The new website should have been social (the bullshit part), and the old site should be for holding funds.

Ven tho you obvioously arent well versed on how all this works, you shouldnt have to. and most steemians and especially INVESTORS, dopnt know and odnbt care and they expect steemit inc to keep the fucking bridges to the steemblockchain open, if they are gonna insist on continuing to be the ONLY front end.....

if @ned refuses to fund any sort of Steem App then he better keep the web wallet working or give @jesta money to update @vessel and hire full time staff and buy vessel, make it the official desktop steem wallet

where is @ned tho ?

Wow! That's nice.. Thanks

@rocketcattledog....You can still have access to your funds.. You can log in with your private key if you don't have your posting keys.

The main reason Steemit Inc enabled this feature is to ensure our tokens are more safe and secured.

Access your Steemit account with your private keys and remember to back up your password and other necessary posting keys in a safe place.

Thanks for reading and I hope this helps.
