Absolutely. With all the institutional money flowing into Bitcoin right now people are getting their first taste of crypto. This will drive the price up and make Bitcoin even harder and more costly to spend. Their next option will be to look for a more user friendly coin. i.e. Litecoin maybe Dash. There are already plans to roll out Litecoin ATMs in the US in 2018. Its gonna be the people's coin.
All good cryptos are gonna hit all time highs in 2018. Some might disappear. But Litecoin will hit $1000 easily. Maybe $2000 by the end of 2018. If it hits a market cap of 100 Billion (entirely possible) it will be a $2000 coin.
I had not heard that about the LTC ATMs but it is awesome.
There was an article that said LTC solves no problems like BTC does. That had me perplexed. LTC has lightning network, it will have smart contracts before BTC, and there will be vaults built in to the blockchain for security of the tokens (according to Lee).
In the end, do not bet against Charlie Lee...Rule number 1 in cryptos.
Thats a good rule.
All these bitcoin forks are trying to fix what bitcoin cannot do but they don't realize Litecoin has already solved this. Its got a lot going for it.
I've got it broken down into 3 catagories.
Litecoin is my currency bet.
STEEM is my social media bet.
EOS is my technology bet.
I have several other alts too but these are my main gigs.
LTC is not my biggest holding by dollars after this run.
BTS is probably second...I dont have EOS but I am heavily in the other Dan blockchain.
Of course, I am with you on STEEM.
I actually lightened up a bit on my BTC and ETH (not a ton but a sliver or two) and put them in BTS and STEEM.
I might do it again if BTC hits $25K and ETH $1K.
