Good article. Do you know of anyone creative who IS bringing their audience to steem? A case study would be really useful for the argument. I know you bought some figures from a cartoon via Steem - maybe that artist would right you something on the effectiveness of Steem?
I agree that TFATD are probably a good band to try this with, or maybe another post-rock/prog act. I think folk music fans and bands would run away...
I am looking out for those who have already done it. I bought the figures from the comic by @katharsisdrill. I don't know how well that limited edition sold.
There are so many bands with a small, dedicated following who already do a lot on-line. People have to be technical enough to deal with Facebook, Bandcamp etc. I mentioned Steem to Steve Lawson, but he is doing his own thing. Just needs someone to take the risk on it.
