RE: Crunch Time! For Steemit, Devs, and Witnesses.

Hey Kevi,

Agreed it's a genuine concern on the direction the platform is heading in, but a lot of this is about education. We all collectively need to try to educate people that spamming is working against your own self interest. People need to be shown the long term prospects of steem where this is the place to come get quality content, but if it's full of idiots spamming then this place will become a ghost town and the steem tokens will be worthless no matter not many SMTs come out. @dj23 is doing a good job of trying to educate people as is @taskmaster4450 which is helping but we do need more. Drawing attention to it and giving a place for the conversation is a nice contribution.

Also, as an aside. I just wanted to say thank you for your continued support of the #comedyopenmic contest, it means a lot. Thanks.

Link to DJ education just in case you weren't sure if he deserves to be there

Yeah i've noticed @dj123 and his enthusiasm. I've been wondering why he/she doesn't write their own posts other than comments?

Everyone who see's a DJ comment is wondering. I'm considering building a bot to do a Best of DJ posts to entertain myself...

While I have you I'd like to ask would you mind if we use your name in the comedyopenmic posts as a supporter of the contest? You're a well known person of steemit and have quite a bit of clout I think advertising that you support the contest would help us out, if you don't mind.
