Increasing the number of followers is not a very difficult thing in itself.
More followers means more exposure
If you have many followers on Steemit, there is a good chance to have more people who will share and resteem your post; "The Union is the strength". If you wont this to work just keep the good work if you are trying to sell bad content it will not work not one wants to share shit content.
Quality is More Important than Quantity
Quality followers are your most important thing on steemit. These followers are actually the ones who listen to you, resteem your post, and respond to your messeges and check your page. These followers are hard to get, but they are worth a hard work.
Be active and post at least once a week. You can go a lot more frankly by posting every day, if you manage to create enough quality post. However, do not sacrifice quality for quantity. It is better a very good post per week than 10 mediocre posts.
