One thing we have on our side like you said is that the pool of minnows is constantly growing in power as time goes on while the % of power the whales hold may stay relatively the same in comparison. Think about the amount of people Google, Bing, and Yahoo will start sending once they categorize and list all this targeted well thought out content in their search engines! It will undoubtedly introduce a huge new crowd of people to SteemIt, and Bitcoin indirectly as well.
