Good luck with introducing new people to Steemit. The good news is that great people are coming. The bad news might be that others come too. But that is life and life is full of that variety. And the better people begin to rise as we promote, share, talk about, and vote on the people, the things, we love the most. It profits to excel.
I'm pretty new here too and I agree and must say, seeing all these new posts every day it's so pretty confusing for me here. Making me almost leave steemit again, but I will give it a few more days. :-)

'First post' as in blog posts or comments? I actually started commenting before my 'introduce yourself' post because I needed to acclimatize to the Steemit community. So technically, I consider my 'introduce yourself' post as my first.
