True! Lol The price of Steem might be low right now and people are only getting low payouts, but just imagine when the price of Steem starts to moon. 1 STEEM could be the next 1 BTC. Bitcoin started out this low and I personally think Steem have more potential in terms of Speed and almost everything compared to other crypto coins. Well I could only dream lol
We are all dreaming of that day, but I hope when that day comes we can have more people that are actually interacting with others than another influx of "nice post, upvoted!" types lol

that would be awesome but i think it's an utopia :P same story like the hope that sometime it will reach the price of bitcoin :P (sorry @jlordc at least hope dies last :P). Given the way steemit is formed there is no chance to reach bitcoin mostly never, except if bitcoin falls a lot :P
I think it would be a miracle if someday 1 steem equals 15-20$ :P
I will still continue on dreaming for that day to come lol
I for one personally do think it will just be around $3-$5. If it indeed reach the price of BTC even once, a lot of people would immediately cash out lol. I still do stand by my statement that compared to other Crypto like BTC, Steem is much more better :)

hmm i had the same thought too but the reality is a bit different because they have different uses. For example bitcoin was the first from every other crypto so ofc it will have a lot of flaws compared to other crypto.
Because it was the first though and most people got this, now it is the number 1 crypto for money storage. It's literally like gold and even better. Litecoin is the silver and it is a little bit better than btc in terms of speed transactions etc etc.
All of the other cryptos have completely different uses, like social platforms, solving problems, a place that you can built apps etc etc so you can't compare all of them together.
I even saw but i don't remember a chart that showed 4-5 categories of cryptos
