In a faster moving world where automation takes the seats of employees. It is pretty much hard to keep up with the industry updates and retaining a job from highly competitive colleagues. Jobs are declining at a constant pace. People are struggling to find a job that can fulfill their basic needs.
The governments around the world are trying to wrap around this dilemma and testing Universal Basic Income on certain parts.
It is working and providing some good results. But the question is whether it can be sustained when scaled up to a majority of the population. Also distribution of such income can be easily dismantled by corruption in different parts of the world.
Probably the advent of the cryptocurrencies might have a solution to employ Universal Basic Income and might contribute to a well being of the world. Already faucets had much promoted and expanded the reach of crytpto currencies to a wide range of audience. Now the advent of platforms such as steem can distribute the same efficiently and through merit basis. Lets hope the crypto world change how the world is governed.
